Account Coordinator
Overview
The Account Coordinator is expected to be a team player and support the Account Team in varying responsibilities. The Account Coordinator has an understanding of all basic public relations functions such as writing basic press materials, dealing with the media as necessary, and coordinating all aspects of daily client/agency functions. The Account Coordinator is a team player and takes ownership of all work assigned. The ideal candidate has PR/communications agency experience, strong verbal and writing skills, is creative, detailed, and results oriented.
Responsibilities:
• Contributes to account planning efforts by performing daily administrative and PR support functions, takes responsibility for assignments and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
• With direction from the account team, coordinates effective program implementation.
• Works closely with the account team to ensure all materials – including presentation, press materials, and reports – are of high quality, delivered on time and are within budget.
• Good basic hands-on skills are required in PR methods including: media relations, maintaining media lists, monitoring/maintaining editorial calendars, researching, preparing client presentations and activity reports.
• Write and/or distribute materials including pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, and prepared activity reports.
• Must be able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and be able to prioritize assignments.
• Conduct client, competitive, and industry research.
Education and Experience:
• Solid PR agency experience required (six months to one year of PR internships or PR agency work experience).
• Journalism, Communications, or English degrees preferred.
Minimum Requirements
• Understanding of and interest in public relations, media and communications.
• Experience with media relations (pitching media).
• Excellent writing and presentation (written and verbal) skills.
• Strong research skills and knowledge of research tools.
• Strong work ethic and project management skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and maintain grace under pressure.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media.
• Experience with Cision database and other PR software a plus.

Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager
Overview
The Business Development Managaer is responsible for achieving revenue goals for our offices by building market presence and identifying and helping pursue new business opportunities in line with firm and local office business strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes business development plans for our offices in conjunction with the Head of Marketing and Office Managing Partners
• Generates opportunities with targeted prospects through agreed upon lead generation activities including events, business community outreach, networking, referral development, and other lead generation programs as defined in the office business development plans
• Qualifies opportunities and builds relationships with key executives and stakeholders in support of the growth of the practice groups and industries
• Leads bi-weekly office business development meetings
• Reports on progress of office business development plans
• Monitors and reports on the results of all lead generation programs, opportunities, and business development plans for each assigned office
• Participates in the sales and proposal processes including developing strategy, and providing proposal/presentation strategy and support
• Contributes to the production of a pipeline report for each assigned office
• Collaborates with office professionals, and other business development executives to help ensure sales success
Requirements:
• B.A. Degree
• Five or more years of business development experience in accounting, financial consulting, and business advisory services
• Industry knowledge including real estate, consumer goods, financial services, food and beverage, etc.
• Solid track record of developing business relationships with C-level executives (CEOs, CFOs, Board of directors, etc) and referral sources required
• Demonstrated experience prospecting, closing, and building long-term relationships
• Team-oriented and has strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and communicate our business, marketplace and value proposition
• Knowledge of contact management software including updating, maintenance and list generation
